E Liquid shelf life?

Probably a very stupid question that's been asked before, but here goes
once you've bought e juice, how long does it last for in a good state? Does it "go off" after a certain amount of time?

Because it contains food flavouring there is a 6 month to 2 yr shelf life.

Nicotine base without flavouring can last up to 10 years in a freezer
