Ego Aspire BDC gets quite warm?

Hi guys, after visiting my vendor yesterday I got a Aspire BDC for my ego vv and I've been using it for about 5 minutes now and I've noticed that it has got quite warm, basically my question, is this normal? I have my ego vv set to 3.8v which is my preferred 'warmth'.

Yes.

The 2 coils are quite low in the tank and the coil housing and the base etc are all metal which conducts heat rather well so they do get warm during normal use. If it gets hot that's not normal but warm is fine.

Awesome, it hasn't got hot, just pleasantly warm. I thought this may be the case but had to double check. Thx sweety.

it will heat up yeah but like vaper caper says as long as its not really hot you should be ok plus bonus it doubles as a hand warmer in our cold climate

Try a few minutes with my dual-coiled dripper,the cap gets so hot it'll remove your skin...& if(like me)you started using the short driptip,that gets so hot after a few deep draws it'll weld itself to your lips(now changed for a 3" driptip)
