Ehpro Cold Steel 100 Replacement

I had an Ehpro Cold Steel 100 for well over a year before it began to stop working (fire button, etc) and managed to source a replacement (twice). I don't know what happened to the quality but the first replacement battery cap was faulty and I had to send it back. The second replacement: the top of the unit keeps popping out; it's still usable but not great.

I am therefore in the market for a replacement altogether. Any recommendations of single 21700 mods, please?

The top plate repeatedly came loose on my Uwell Nunchaku 18650 mod, I just tapped it back in with a mallet and it would be ok for a few months (a hammer with a lump of wood to avoid chipping the paint also works). The last time it worked loose I used superglue and its been good for the last 6 months or so.

Quite a few single 21700 mods on the market at the moment, innokin kroma-217 is a decent bit of kit don't need to get the full kit, you looking to use your own tank? Or looking for a pod system, geekvape B100 21700 kit is also decent but needs the 6ml pods but very good coils too

On my cold steel 100 the top popped up after a couple hours use, taped it back down by covering with a piece of wood and tapping with a hammer and had no problems since.

I wonder if the VPD Direct is the one I returned to them as they didn't have any more back in October. I suppose at £15 it might be worth a shot...
