Element pink lemonade recipe?

Could be the food coloring too maybe clouding it up? I know when you first mix, it's very cloudy, then clear as water. Also made a batch last night with lemon instead of lemonade. It's good mind you, just not that lemon we all are familiar with. I'd say if I had to place it...it would be lemon zest. The very tart, little bitter notes from a lemon peel. Strawberry is more pronounced and I'm thinking the grenadine in this batch is knocking the rough edges off the lemon. Still, a very good, sweet and pleasant vape. They've certainly earned my business even IF we never crack this. When the website comes back online, I'll place my order for a vanilla recipe from them. Hell, I want to try ALL their flavors. LOL!

So reading this thread we are now a million miles away from the recipe posted on page one? I'm also wanting to make an element pink lemonade or key lime cookie clone in the UK.

I wouldn't say a million miles away?
There are some great clone recipes here that are worth a try?
My own favourite so far is the chewy one. Not 100% bang on but the best I have tried so far.
Like almost every clone they take on arms and legs with people tweaking the flavours to get a better result closer to the original, which has happened here.natural progression really?

Well said @bigbluenose. So far, the Nature's Flavors recipe I did was the closest to the real thing I've ever tried. Chewy's recipe we tried is a great shake and vape. My problem has and has always been, flavor fade, especially lemon/lemonade. I made one great batch of the Nature's Flavors lemonade, strawberry and grenadine. Then, as usual, after steeping...no to very little lemon. I still stand 100 percent behind the grenadine however. It IS the red notes in the "pink" Just be damned if I can keep lemon from fading out.

I made up the chewy one a couple of days ago and tried it last night. I found the lime to be the dominant flavour. Is anyone else getting that? Or have I messed up somewhere along the line?

Sorry- lime!
Can't say I find the lime dominant although I do find that lime seems to settle down after a week or so? Then again everybody tastes different things so try your next batch with a bit less lime and see if that works?

@bigbluenose. Well the last batch I had steeping never improved, just actually got worse. I had to pour it down the drain. I really, really had high hopes for this line of flavorings. It's just horrible. Not even closely or remotely close to anything I would recommend anyone vaping. My suspicion is that, as it was fresh right out of the bottle as it arrived is why it was a spot on match to the real thing. I am going to look into a couple other lines that use pg as a carrier again. Still stand by my convictions with the grenadine. Whoevers it is they're using. At the very least, it may still be salvageable to you as a shake and vape in maybe 5-10 ml batches. Back to the drawing board.

@japhia42
Bit of a bummer!
What are the manufacturers recommended % ?
VG based flavourings tend to take time to fully develop the flavour due,in part, to VG being thicker it doesn't carry the flavours as well as their PG equivalents ?
Heat can also have a detrimental effect if the temperature is too high.
I would try and keep the temperature below 40 deg but you will need some heat to help the blending of flavours when mixing.
