Hi. Me and my husband have been vaping now since September 2012 and can't believe how easy it was to stop the analogs. Anyway, we bought a selection of juices and most of them are alright. However , the butterscotch tastes like sick and the caramel and the chocolate creme both taste burnt even in new clearomizers. Is there anything I could add to them to make them taste better or shall I just throw them?
also I find the cherry ones could do with more flavour as its very subtle and want a better flavour hit. Could I add some cherry concentrate to it? Not worried if it reduces the nic content as its more to do with the flavour for us.
thatnks

Hello and welcome to the planet. What do you mean by cherry concentrate? If you're talking food flavourings ..er don't is my advice. Not recommended for Vaping.

Hi Dibbylou, and welcome, sometimes just going for it and experimenting is a great learning experience that can result in miracles, or tragedy.
I have an Hangsen Butterscotch which is absolutely foul, which I may try and add some gingerbread concentrate too to jazz it up, I shall see.
Adding some concentrate to your cherry liquid should be fine, but concentrate is to be used carefully, look at the mixology forum here, there are many thread detailing a variety of flavour experiments.

Good thing to do though, is take one ml of your cherry liquid, and say, add one drop of cherry concentrate, mix, and taste test on, say, a dripping atomizer, but to be ultra careful, mix one drop of cherry concentrate to nine drops of pg or vg, and then add one drop of that to the 1ml of cherry liquid, and keep adding until you reach your nirvana. I am over-complicating things? I reckon! Anyway, what I do sometimes is just whack a drop or two of concentrate in an existing 10ml bottle, shake, try, see what happens, because life can be too short, it depends how thorough I'm feeling.

Sometimes, best to just chuck a bad thing away, but it is good to try and achieve goodness out of grossness first, at least.

Some good sites for concentrates: leisureliquids, liberty flights, 4drops.

And others, which hopefully other folks can name.

Edit: What Mark said is true, if using concentrates, keep your health in mind, use concentrates that are specifically for eliquids.

Thanks for the advice. When I said cherry concentrate I did mean eliquid concentrate.

Don't like throwing anything away if there's a chance that I could use it, so hoping of some advice on which flavours would go together with my foul tasting ones. if I bought some flavorless eliquid would it water down the taste so it was more subtle?

I buy all my eliquids from the same vendor and some are very subtle or hardly any flavour, whilst others are exactly right. For example, when my husband vapes the strawberry one I can smell it across the room, but the cherry we can hardly taste, some are really nice and others are foul.

anyone out there tried Parma violets flavor as I've seen it for sale and love the sweets but would like a review first before I buy some.

Hello and welcome. Can you tell us what you are vaping (brands) and maybe possibly we can make some suggestions?

Thanks for that mark, looks like its going in my next order.
No problem help where we can! Btw sorry I mistook your question initially but it's not uncommon for relative newbies to assume they can use food flavourings from the supermarket ;) good luck in your quest :)
