I got a high resistance spring sent to me through the post, when I tested it on the meter it was jumping about all aver the place but never lower than 1.5 ohms. After a quick rub with fine sandpaper on the surfaces that contact the end cap and the bottom of the battery, the resistance came down to a rock steady 0.3 ohms. Not as low as the gold plated ones which are about 0.1 ohms, but not high enough to cause any problems (in my humble opinion) I think it was Charlie sent me the spring, I had asked a couple of people to send me a bad spring. If it was, thank you Charlie ;-). It looks like it was oxidation, not enough that you could see, but enough to send the meter reading crazy and give high resistance contacts with the battery causing heat. I am going to use it in my Vamo to check it out, but I dont think it will get hot or even warm now. I am using a 1.4 atomizer, so if it still has a problem, it will show up fairly quickly.
