Empire (VaperzCloud/Orca/Grimm Green 21700 Squonk Mod

I dont have that mod but I do have a few squonkers. Before you consider moving on to squonking you must be proficient at building attys, all the rda`s you`ll be using will need building, and a familiarity with Ohms Law is advisable, but with modern regulated mods it`s not as essential as it was.
The empire has had a lot of good reviews but is a expensive bit of kit if you dont take to squonking, I`d advise that you start off with something like the vandy vape pulse 3 mod which can be had for under 40 quid if you look around.
If you look on YT you will find a load of video reviews and in our forum review section you will find members reviews to help make your mind up.
Cheers mate, I've been squonking for years. I've also been building for years mate. But I appreciate the heads up just incase I hadn't.

I read a few reviews about the mod and some where not very complementary, it's single cell, so usual caveats for builds apply.

I've been looking at these squonk mods, what are people genuine thoughts on them please?

The chip isn't very good, specifically the battery management. Find power drops when the battery still has like 3.9v in it, not great for anything over 60 watts unless you don't mind changing batteries every 100 puffs (stupid for a single 21700). Fill port is annoying. Nice feeling device, well made, but not worth the retail price. I wouldn't buy another.

*Theres quite a few people that have had various issues with the chip aside from the power management, Vaperz Cloud seem to have been very good at quickly helping people out which is a plus.

It's a no from me then.

Some people really like it, if you come across one second hand for £60 or so it might be worth a go, there's quite a few that get listed on FB, wouldn't be too hard to sell it on. But yeah over-hyped and over-priced imo.

I'm away from social media, can't stand it.

This is spot on. It is, in my view, a good looking device. It does feel good in the hand and it’s well constructed. But the fill mechanism is just badly designed and I’ve had the power ‘drop’ issue. Always good to see a new squonker on the market but as someone said up thread for someone buying their first squonker the Pulse 3 is a much better (and cheaper) option
