Hi...

Ok sorry if this has been covered but if any one can help I would be very grateful....

Having used a SXmini ML successfully now for over 6 months in TC mode I decided on getting it a brother / sister and as I fancied a different mod (mainly driven by cash saving) I opted for a Vapedroid CID2 dna75.

I've loaded on the Escribe software this morning and grasped the basics but I've stumbled across an issue...

My go to set up on my ML is a spaced zivipf Nife48 awg28 coil running at 17 jules in eco mode which I've set up the TCR settings manually to 0.00405 ( thanks to @spikey1 and @danb )

I can't seem to do this via the mod and I would like to replicate the same settings for my new dna75 mod but every time I've gone to add the wire via Escibe it directs me to steam engine or asks for a .csv file to upload.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Sorry for being a noob.

cheers

Gaz

you can get the csv for the wire you want on steam engine, then upload it to escribe

@gazlynn there are two options here:

1. Use the Nifethal52 csv from steam engine

2. Set TCR manually as follows:
a. On the Materials tab, click "Create New" (the + icon under the available materials list) and highlight it (it will appear as "unnamed" in the list)
b. Click "Actions" at the bottom right of the graph, and select "temperature coefficient of resistance (approximation)"
c. Enter TCR in units of /K - for Zivipf NiFe48, this is 0.004 (or 0.00405 if you prefer)
d. Rename the wire and you're done

I don't do tc, but if you haven't got it already, this is a link to the escribe user manual. :)
