EU regulator: No evidence to support restriction of Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine

i’m not so sure, a lot of what i read, and opinions on here, seem to dismiss any concerns about it. not long ago some were wondering if actions to limit it’s use were political.

Noticed as well mate, there seems to be a thing about "There is no evidence" blah, blah, all is ok. There is certainly a connection, namely the AZ vaccine, persons, usually females, of a particular age (group), the fact that covid itself causes blood clots, in many cases, is a valid connection. The evidence is there, and surely it cant be purely anecdotal. This started off as a bad batch thing, time will tell. These are still early days, the vaccines are experimental drugs, rushed out, we don't have long term studies on side effects, because we obviously have to get to long term first, we are only at the beginning.

I've had the AZ vaccine, and it is concerning to read the reports of clots, although I've had no issues so far.
To be honest though, if I'm going to get a blood clot, it would probably be from sitting on my fat arse too much

or maybe it's a smoke screen to cover the reports of the lack of efficacy of the Pfizer/BioNtech vaccine?

you think it’s a conspiracy involving a load of random governments plus the uk mhra? why would the mhra be in on it?

Like I said before more people die after having the flu jab (which is given to far less people) but we aren't all talking about that. I don't exactly what the motives are for trying to cause a panic over this but I wouldn't be surprised if it is political in some way.

I don't think there is a panic, if a link to blood clots in a certain group is suspect and later proven, shouldn't people know?

It's surprising on here the amount of people thinking there is a AZ vaccine conspiracy............ but dismiss the flat earthers as nutters:D

Of course, but there is no evidence of that at the moment.... despite what andy says above the evidence isn't there.

I'm sure you know the phrase "correlation does not imply causation" and in this case there very little to suggest anything... imo.

If there was a conspiracy there would be motive.
Maybe the EU are still scorn or could be the other vaccine companies?
