ninja , - you simply did the right thing in bringing the news to our forum. If it wouldn't have been you, it would've been somebody else. Put those thoughts out of your head and let's not hear anything more about it x
None of this is you fault ninja.
We all know that. Nobody is blaming you. I don't think the thoughts even occurred to anybody else.
Now for goodness sake, stop worrying about it
so have i Ninja but its not you that done the upsetting, i for one know how much of a kick in the balls it was for someone as active as you in support of efvi,
so dont get lost on the idea you started something cos you didn't
As stated before, I would have been attending regardless of whether or not EFVI-UK got a table. I'm happy they got the table in the end, but it wouldn't have made a difference.
As others have said, the damage has already been done and I just hope that the rift in the community heals before the event.
But of course, one of the organisers decided to take it upon themselves to make the whole issue personal by targeting an upstanding member of POTV. Someone I consider a huge influence in the community and someone I proudly consider a friend.
An attack on a member, mod or otherwise is an attack on an entire forum that I consider a virtual second home. For this very reason I'M OUT!
Check me making far more sense after just finishing off a bottle of Buckfast...
Don't worry about it luv, you didn't do anything that significantly affected the situation. All you did was start a thread. It would have kicked off regardless of who started the thread because the situation was basically untenable .. as the VF organisers eventually realised.
You've done nothing wrong, so don't go beating yourself up when there's no need.
