Hello, bear with me and then advise if possible.
I recently bought a custom evl reaper from vaping shit house and it is not only outstanding but a remarkable flavour apparatus. All the raves about it are not lies. I thought they would be but no, it really is that good, sincerely a flavour whore.
So my problem is I only vape pure pg, can't use vg at all, allergic to vg.
No matter what I do, coil low to air intake, coil away from intake, low ohm builds, high ohm coils, 3 mm, 2 mm I'd coils, spaced coils, micro coils. The throat hit leaves me floored.
I got a single hole afc ring from John, went up 1 watt at a time from 6.5 up to 18 watts. Around the 16 watts the uncomfortable throat hit became slightly more bearable, and the flavour reached the perfect resonance for me. Honestly it neatens out the flavour to a pin point purety hitherto unaware of. I vape home made menthol and am looking for ways to get around this throat hit. If I was vaping vg, it would not be an issue, just wondered if anyone has a reaper and has already gone through and hopefully found a way around it. Even at my laziest draw the design of the reaper seems to make it a fast fill mtl. I thought it was the heat, I normally vape, 6.5/7 watts, but when I hit the 16 watts mark, the throat hit eased off and it is bliss, but the throat hit is too stern, cough inducing. Like a dry hit but not a dry hit what so ever. Any advice would be most welcome cause this reaper, well, I never would have believed it was that good with bringing out flavour. I never knew anything could, and I have got some high end gear, any way thanks for reading and I hope I've made my issue clear.
