Quick question for some of the more experienced vapers on here - Have you noticed any health\Lifestyle benefits since you stopped smoking and started vaping. If so, can you explain these a little and give an idea of how long it took for you to notice these effects\changes. I appreciate it will be different for each individual but I am very interested to hear your side of things. I imagine there are the obvious ones such as not smelling of smoke, no more yellow nicotine stained fingers etc but I think it would be good motivation for new vapers such as myself to here some of the positive changes vaping has made to your health or day to day life. I am determined not to go back to spending almost £10 per day on smelly cigarettes that are slowly making my health worst, many thanks.

I noticed things fairly quickly. I could keep up with my dogs at work, I could run up the stairs without any change to my breathing, I could smell the great outdoors in all it's glory, my hair felt cleaner, i could really taste my food in great detail, I don't get severe colds and hardly ever get tonsillitis any more (I used to have it more often than not). These all started to be noticed within the first month of vaping and just got better and better :)

Personally ive noticed ive not had hardly any cold or flus (jinxed it now!) The biggest thing is I drink a lot more water now, which is all good anyway, but especially if your vaping.

I can now get upstairs without needing a paramedic to administer oxygen(didn't actually need one before, just felt like I did) :P

Not much else changed,as being the victim of 10 car crashes has fecked up my spine so getting about is just as difficult.

I can breathe better,i have more energy,i can smell and taste better,i smell better lol,i just feel more healthy in general.

I noticed health benefits coming in by the 4th week - my sense of smell and taste improved dramatically plus I felt I could breathe again and manage stairs much more easily plus don't get ill as much as I used to

I had tried quitting smoking several times before, and have stopped for probably 6 months at a time. When doing that I have felt so much better, better breathing, smell, taste, all of the usual things, but there was always still one thing wrong with me - I wanted to smoke! I've now been vaping for a month and I feel all of the health benefits, but when I want a vape, I can! I just cant believe I haven't done this sooner.

I am on day 18, not really felt that much better yet. Managed to catch my first cold in 4 years on day 9 or 10 and have been coughing and sniffling since, so definitley not feeling good at the moment. It merged with quitters flu and I felt rather sorry for myself...

I have my sense of smell back, it came back all of a sudden.... London stinks!!

I can't wait to reach week 8 as apparently that is when the benefits really start coming through.

What I have noticed, is the fact that I have more money! Even though I spent some on Vaping supplies, I am still quids in. Loving it.

Background: I went from 20-30 roll-ups per day, to none at all, over night. And I've been smoking since I was 15 (now 40) ;-)
First two weeks I noticed very little improvement, other than a slightly stronger sense of smell. I also suffered from extremely vivid dreams in the first two weeks (some I wouldn't complain about too LMAO). But I had no cravings at all using 1.5 to 2ml of 24mg liquid per day, even though I'd got no intentions of giving up. From week 3 onwards I noticed better breathing, sense of smell and taste and generally having more energy. This has improved more and more as the weeks have gone on, and I recently did a 10 mile fast pace cross country walk, and could have easily done it again, as I felt like I'd done nothing.

First thing I noticed was taste. Occasionally used to have a curry, once a month or two First Vindaloo I had a couple of months after I started vaping, it nearly blew my head off. I can't take that hot anymore. Everything seems to taste better now, plus I don't put so much salt on my food.
