Fake Charger

Just had an email from hotecig which has just shipped so they are getting back to normal.
Fastech email early last week that had shipped but I think they could of been telling porky pies as they were on holiday then.

i havent had my confirmation from Hotecig yet, waiting on my Manta clone, i did however get an email from @Ben fogstar confirming my order was shipped 2 hours after i place an order, top drawer

Oh i know, Fogstar was recommended here, that's why i got a set from there. Although, i have to figure out if i can use them anyway, figured out a bit too late that the description on the box mod states that they have to be "high discharge batteries" (don't have the box yet, still in transit, stupid holidays :( ), the ones i got are 20A. Apparently i should be looking at 25A. I'll figure that one out when i get the Charon. Anyway, i shouldn't have to jump through hoops etc to make sure that my house doesn't blow up (ie do research on all kinds of stuff) because i got a clone of sorts. Or even worse, have a constant lingering feeling of "hm, hope everything's alright" because i can't double check for certain items (like those VTC6s) if they're legit or fakes.

THe batteries will be ok but it depends on what wattage you vape at. For instance I have some some samsung 25r which are 20a you will be good using two upto 120w above that you need batteries with higher amp rating. I generally run between 60 and 130w depending on the tank, juice or coils I have so I normally use sony vct5a batteries.

Yeah, was ordered from 3fvape, just have to wait for it. Since i'll have to wait around two weeks for me Siren V2 as well, i'm okay with it. And yeah, vaping pretty low wattage - MTL, since i stopped smoking 2 weeks ago, it just suits my "habits" better. :)

Keep it on topic. People coming in for the first time will see a convo regarding battery preference not fake chargers.

well done mate on reaching 2 weeks, trick at the beginning is to find what works best and stick with it to get you through those early stages, and i would strongly recommend before making any purchases ask on here for advice and there will always be someone who can point you in the right direction, will save you falling into any holes and wasting your hard earned.

Look, you got caught out, either a dodgy charger from an old batch, or a dodgy sample from a supplier, or you got a good deal that you couldn't resist and they slipped shonky ones into the order to increase profit margins. Whatever the cause you need to sort this out - and quickly. You're rapidly losing any support from vapers and your communications have been inconsistent and sometimes contradictory.

I'm surprised nobody has noticed this, see how Tubby mentions a supplier mixing fakes with genuine products? Then Josh went from somewhat accepting blame saying it was likely an old batch to shifting the blame onto his supplier saying they mixed in fakes with the real ones?

Edit: Given he also popped up on the scene with a questionable website too

I've read through the full thread and didn't see anyone comment on it, could be a genuine coincidence but who would believe that when we know Josh was reading the thread

Also first post here, joined up because of this shit storm given I work in the industry it's probably about time I join up here anyway

Just wow.....

The vaping universe seems to be a small one, but boy do we have long memories!

I think the name of next day batteries will fade into folklore but the name Josh Malone will forever be known amongst vapers, no matter what other business within the vape world this clown tries to get into next

Just googled next day explosions and they come up on vaping underground - anyone been in touch with them?
