Fake Charger

Why would I want to drive away new customers? Do you think Tesco plastered that they sold horse meat on their homepage and shop doors

They actually did in my local Tesco express, plastered the product recall absolutely everywhere they could, front doors, fridge doors, by the tills, for safety concerns.

If this was me, and knowing that a lot of other distributors and shops in the UK buy some or all of their stock directly from China, i would be shouting this suppliers name out for all so they dont make the same mistake.
But if, hypothetically, a "business man" obsessed with money knowingly bought fake chargers outing their supplier would add further fuel to the shit storm. The last thing NDB need is their supplier outing them as having knowingly bought fakes. The fact the counterfeit chargers are being destroyed, rather than returned to the supplier speaks volumes in my opinion.

He has no benefit from sorting members on here with their refunds, he knows they won't be going back there. He might as well let the reputable vendors sort the replacements on his behalf.

Shit happens and something things go wrong, how you deal with it afterwards shows the character of the man. I couldn;t have it on my conscience if there was any chance of these charger being in the wild, but I suppose I have a conscience

I've just had a look on Next Day Twatteries (good one @SirLugg ) website. Not only his he trying to manipulate Trust Pilot reviews but I smell bullshit from the reviews on his own website. It's amazing how many 5 star reviews there are. Even the most respected vendors get occasional bad reviews, it's only natural but there are non on there. Makes a total mockery of posting reviews. If you're going to cheat in an exam then make sure you get a couple of answers wrong so it doesn't look as obvious. ;)

It's the new vapers that I feel sorry for. If they aren't a member of a forum then they will go to this guy & think he's totally trustworthy. I wouldn't trust him to supply the batteries for a Duracell bunny.

It's a shame this fella doesn't appear to know his arse from his elbow? Whilst the vaping community probably won't use him anymore, new users may well do, I just hope he ups his game and starts to run his business more morally and ethically. If not for his own sake but certainly for future prospective customers.

We were contacted by a customer last night looking to to take advantage of our offer of a free replacement.

Its currently welded into the wall socket in his house and an electrician is on his way to remove it. I imagine its shorted and melted the plug. Once removed, its being forwarded to us for inspection. I did notice in the photos we were sent that the charger input on the back appears to be black, not yellow.

Will update when i have it here and ive photographed it and then taken it apart.

Ben
Now things have moved to a whole new level.
From what could of happened now to what has happened.
So a charger plug has melted and fused itself into a wall socket. Thank fuck we are not reading worse news.
Time to name and shame these scumbag wholesalers

The more this thread grows the higher up Google search it gets when inputting next day batteries. At the moment it's showing at number six on the list. Hopefully potential customers will see this.

The charger and batteries arrived today. Validated fine on the website as genuine and got the warranty email. So it appears the one I got is OK, UK plug etc. Cells look genuine from what I can tell. So other than the poor practice I seem to have what I paid for. Won't use them for any other cells or goods but it appears I have genuine products. The charger had been opened I assume to check it's validity which is fine by me. He's not sent me a fake product from what I can tell. Don't like how any of this has been handled on his part, but I got what I paid for.
