Good stuff pal! I've still a few out there plus I've made 6 more orders from Chinese vendors the past week I'll still be wittering on to myself in this thread for a few more weeks

Cheers but I'm not so sure myself! To be honest, there's not a lot there that I'm chomping at the doormat for so I'm pretty chilled, they'll come in the end with time

quick question people

ordered 2 items from fastech about a week ago and chose the free delivery option so upto 30 days.
pod refils Vaporesso Renova Zero $16.30 for 6 so withing the threshold for customs £12.90
pod refils VOOPOO DRAG Nano $7.64 for 4

just got a text message from DHL express saying delivery friday from Lanneret Oil (google shows a oil refinery) WTF! but checking on dhl its from Hong Kong so only guess is fastech.

so as its dhl express do you reckon they are going to try and sting me for £17 delivery which they done before on a larger order which got collered by customs.

ive always used e packet which has always been free but the above two were an extra $3-4 each for e packet.

You've paid FT to deliver it so should be charged nothing more.
Import duty is charged at customs if the value limit is exceeded which is UK vat @20% added if over £15.

The carrier will pay the customs charges if applied to release the parcel then add their premium and charge the amount in duty plus their cut.

thanks mate. panic over. it was Huggert's voopoo pod i won that was for that tracking number so all sorted. it wasnt the fastech orders after all.

YESTERDAY'S tracking said my parcel was being bounced back and forth to THE SAME Chinese cross-border centre, yet today it is in my hands. I conclude:

1. FT's tracking is entirely broken.
2. Your parcels are coming.

Yeah, 17track isn't that good really, there are others out there
