FastTech's "The Immortalizer" clone

Sussed it quite quickly.

The screw thread in the positive post, for the screw that holds the ribbon, is (to use the technical term) fucked.

Support ticket created.

Complaint ticket responded to in a timely three days to offer me a replacement as long as I post back the Immoclone for inspection. This'll be the second thing I've posted back in the space of a fortnight and not been refunded for the first one yet so the chances of me just writing it off as a bad lot look high.

Shame.

Still, as in love, the unexpected can be sent to try the most ardent relationship. For me and the Immoclone the affair is over, I now have to live with it with a bucket full of bitterness and resentment...much like marriage.

How much would it cost you to send the Atty back? Just curious for future reference.

I use the Post Office online postage thing for a rough idea because you need to take it into your local one if you are doing tracking.

The Immo would be about £7.50 which is just over twelve bucks, but I've told them I'd want $14 credited to my account to cover the cost of losing out through exchange rates. Not heard back about that yet...which might sway me.

Unlikely though, with the current problems I'm experiencing with deliveries from the Far East I can't say I'm particularly tempted to buy anything from then in the near future. It's normally three days from take-off to landing, my Chi-You is still flying for its tenth day (14 days from order). My Dbox/Trident has been in the air for six days. Delays at the airport, fine, but when the things are marked as sent you expect them to have been bloody well sent - clearly they haven't.

Yeah @Mawsley, just raised tickets with them on same order/plane have asked them which plane can stay in the air for 10 days

Did that today too, asked for them to ascertain whether or not the stuff has actually been sent or if it's just sitting in Singapore. If it's still over there then I'm cancelling the order and asking for a refund which will go towards me buying a Roller or something else decent and local. And by local I'm including the States as I really want stuff from http://phiniac.com

I think my fascination with cheap is drawing to a close. It was good while I was exploring the world of vaping but I've a pretty good idea what works for me now and what doesn't.
