I thought I was supposed to keep the coil quite low and not over pack it the the first time, but it turns out I was wrong.

Give it plenty of breathing room and plenty of fluff and the flavour's wonderful.

How have you got the airflow? I find the flavour better when it's tighter.

It really is @rew. The Ares 2 is so much smoother and more flavourful than any of my stock tanks. I can see why people end up with so many now.

Nice one @Astral - the tank should have come with a little bit of wire if you need it whilst waiting for some to be delivered.
Sounds like you are getting the hang of it now though and glad you're enjoying it. You've also reminded me that I need to re-wick mine!

It came with all the usual spares @ForestMagpie. I just wanted to try and get the hang of it before shelling out. I'm really going to have to make some choices now.

I haven't actually altered the internal airflow yet, I'm still just using the air flow control ring. I'm not that bold yet! I think I'll try and get it right a couple of more times first before getting too cocky with it.

You'll get used to it mate, just keep experimenting until you get it exactly suited to you.
