Second successful re-wick!

Last week's coil broke. Did this one in half the time too. Somehow it's reading 0.2ohms though. Don't know how I managed that, but it tastes good so I can't complain.

I'm quite enjoying this now!

It really is @rew. The Ares 2 is so much smoother and more flavourful than any of my stock tanks. I can see why people end up with so many now.



It came with all the usual spares @ForestMagpie. I just wanted to try and get the hang of it before shelling out. I'm really going to have to make some choices now.

This is why I've not bought coils for my Falcon King tank since I got in to RBAs, It's far more satisfying to get it right than just screw in a coil and fill a tank. It's the point a replacement for cigs turns in to a hobby. Now I have to stop myself spending more money on new attys rather than worrying about burning out a coil when I'm not able to replace one.

The only thing that worries me is running out of cotton when I mess up the wick for the 2nd or 3rd time after getting something unfamiliar coil wise.

A pack of muji or labo and you'll have no cotton worries for a couple of years.

TBF 3 packs of cotton bacon has kept me going for about 5-6 months now I think.

Now I have this new unity clone from mutley though, I'm using far more cotton than I was.

So glad to hear you're enjoying using RTA's

0.2ohms is low but if you're enjoying it then carry on.
Have a look at the coil mounting on your next re-wick. I've noticed with the Ares 2 that it's easy to have the leg of the coil slip below the head of the grub screw.
