I've got some 0.2 mesh in my unity clone right now, I have to push at least 40w to get anything from it.I'm only using it at 12.5w at the moment and it's on a Gen Nano so I'm hoping I'm fairly safe.
If it's doing what it should and you're using the Nano, no problems. You obviously know what's what. Just a bit of a puzzler as to why it's reading 0.20? Obviously not the atty. Strange....I'm only using it at 12.5w at the moment and it's on a Gen Nano so I'm hoping I'm fairly safe.
Yeah. The 2 I got with it were pretty much bang on 1.00. Kanthal 27ga, if memory serves. @Astral obviously knows the score, just the anal vaping get in me is scratching me head at this.Yeah it is a bit strange, quite a discrepency, the included coils should come in at about an ohm I think.
12.5w at 0.2ohm, I'm surprised it even vapes lol
As I say I'm a DTL guy, so low resistance and high power are my thing. The flavour tastes just about right at that wattage. It starts to taste a bit burnt above that, that's why I suspect there's a bit of a mis-read going on somewhere.
Tried reading it on another atty?
I had some strange things happen when I started vaping. For example, I had a stock coil nautilus. I'd put it on a normal mod and it would be fine. Then I'd fire it on a KKiss or another regulated mech style mod (no wattage buttons) and it would subsequently stop working on a normal mod, and I'd get "check atomiser" errors.
It wasn't a fluke, it happened time and time again, I went through a whole pack of coils like that.
Don't know what caused that to this day, it makes even less sense now that I know how it all works. I was such a noob, I feel like it must have been user error somehow, but god knows what.
