Fogstar battery advice

Just ordered a Tesla wye 85w from fasttech . I will be using it mainly at 12 w at work and now n then at 40 w at home . I will be using a USB to charge and the maximum length of a 18650 it will take is 65 mm . Hopefully one of you can recommend what to go for . Nice one .

I have the same setup running at 13w. The LG HG2 or Samsung 30Q is your best bet (both 3000mah both well rated). I get incredible battery life from the wye, better than the same battery in other setups weirdly.

Edit - oops sorry missed the 40w bit, someone else will have to comment on whether HG2/30Q are suitable for that

Excuse my lack of knowledge mate . The fasttech page says charge 1 amp and the ones you recommend state 1.5 . Am I right in thinking it's all ok .

Yep is fine, I think the 1.5 is the higher level as presumably you can charge even at 0.5a say. Again someone more knowledgable will come along, but charging any 18650 inside a single 18650 mod is absolutely fine and basically all mods offer it now, regardless of the exact 18650 you're using.

I read somewhere that the "0" meant it was a round battery . Don't know whether that's true though, it could be just speculative balls.
