Gearbest reset all your points in account to zero every March

there is a code that keeps getting thrown at me by GB customer support when I have an issue. "MAXY" for 5% off but just remember, discount codes only work on items NOT reduced or in any kind of sale. Otherwise the price usually goes up!!!! Wonderful hahaa
Pretty sure the entire contents of the site are either reduced or on sale :18:

Its true that coupon codes can only used for item which are not flash sale
The item already flash sale means we dropped down the price, so the coupon cannot use
By the way,FBGBES and GB16SALE are 8% off
FBGBES won't expired until the end of September
GB16SALE won't expired until the end of June

Is anyone else aware that Gearbest reset ALL points earned in your account in the past year to zero every march ?

I wasn't, to say I'm pissed off would be bit of an understatement, essentially they just take money (since points are used to buy items) from your account without any prior notification. It's not much don't get me wrong, but that's not the point, it's the principle of taking money away that was earned by the customer from past purchases.

I have been in touch with CS over the last few days, all you get from them is how to earn more points !!

They don't seem able to comprehend that if you take money from peoples account, don't expect to be getting any more money from said people.

Just giving a heads up to anybody else that wasn't aware, I didn't know until they took the points away.

Same problem has happened to me this year, I wasn't aware at all, didn't get any email and I dont remember reading any of this on their T&C. I was about to make a purchase on Sunday and noticed that my points (worth almost 8€) were gone.
Quite dissapointing specially because it has been by 2 days different and with no warning made previously...
