Do you charge your batteries in the mod using the USB cable or in a external charger ?

This is my battery I am using with out the sticker on it

That is a Samsung 25R. Not a bad battery at all IF it's genuine (unfortunately there are a lot of counterfeits) but it is a 20 Amp battery and expecting it to provide a constant 60 Watts is pushing it pretty hard - if it's fake then it will struggle.

I've bought dodgy Samsung 25Rs myself in the past by buying from eBay and although they seemed OK when used in a dual battery box mod they wore out pretty quickly - and if I used them in a single battery mod they were pretty useless as the mod would struggle once the battery dropped below half charge.

Unfortunately many high street shops aren't great when it comes to batteries and the only way to play safe is to buy from a place that ONLY sells batteries like Fogstar, 18650.uk (called NuBattery now I think) or Torchy. I've bought from all 3 without issue and all the batteries I've bought from them have been good and lasted a long time, unfortunately everything I've bought from other places have either been old stock, fakes or just crap.

Nice choice, either way you will get alot more battery life out of it, I would say that normally with a single battery mod that can fit 21700 or 18560 in the same mod there should be a 18650 battery adaptor with the mod, im just wondering if you have one and you are using it with the 18650 battery, i suspect you have a dodgy battery but you can order with confidence with fogstar, not sure if you're aware but there's a discount code for fogstar from these forums, wish I'd told you before you ordered but you can get 20% off with the following code POTV20 enter that at checkout, or you could try cancelling order (if it hasn't been processed yet) and reordering with discount code, every little helps

this is what the 18650 battery adaptor looks like and goes over the top of the battery on positive end, then insert into mod or it may already be inside the mod but should be loose and come out when you take the battery out, this should be used if using an 18650 battery, if it wasn't eing I doubt your mod would fire so suspect you are using it, you don't need to use this with the 21700 battery as its bigger

I have charged 2 batteries of the charger for years I never use a lead to charge my battery

normally next day from fogstar but with Xmas and Royal mail etc I'm not surprised, glad to hear you've got the new battery and hope it works much better for you and should give you a decent amount more battery life either way
