Glass to metal on a tank?

Copper can leach into to your food in amounts that aren't safe to consume.

And yet copper was (and probably still is in the Highlands) traditionally used for distilling and the vast majority of us drink water delivered in copper pipes.

For some reason no notifications again.

@John R

The top link is the one that I think is the one, but until it (would arrive) I couldn't be 100% certain.
The bottom link is the glass I have but no chimney for that length. Again 99% but hard to be absolutely certain.

I tried copper, a plummer at work cut me a ring, at 22mm, which was too short, needed to be 24mm. But 28mm isn't quite right, it will probably seel but one knock and it will almost certainly piss everywhere. Imo it needs to get 29mm od

So I spent 8 quid on some carbon fibre tube 29mm od, see if that works. 99% certain it will, which is probably more certain than close to 20 Inc post on the glass kit.

This is a Daily Mail alarmist, anti-vaping headline just waiting to happen.

MAN DIES INHALING CARBON FUMES FROM DIY VAPE TANK

They'll use a a picture like this too, as they're always unrelated:

Good luck :D

It would probably make as much sense as dies inhaling silica from a glass tank
