Harsh throat hit with various reputable vendors

Are you building your own coils or using stock coils?

I'm not sure if you're already stated it but what nic lvl are you using?

I'm using 6mg nicotine...

I will probably do a batch of 3mg today to see how that will work but I'll be dropping my nicotine content by half and I'm already half attached to my vape when I'm at home so I'm not too sure how I feel about this but we'll see..



As for the coils -- I'm certain that the problem is not in my device, settings or coiling, thus I'm posting in the mixology section -- the problem is in my juice.

Some of my DIY juice is pretty harsh & a throat hit from hell until they've been steeped for a few weeks. Do you steep your juice or vape them fresh ?

You really need to try it in a different tank. I had a similar issue with Aerovape - unvapeable in a Taifun, almost OK in a Subtank, then just before chucking it all down the sink I tried it in a KFL V2 and it's marvelous, smooth and flavoursome.

Remember we are all still learning and something which is an issue for one of us may affect very few other people.

Hm in the end I think I'm going to put it down to some ingredient that they put in Ruthless's Ez Du that makes it so smooth and me getting spoiled from using only that juice. I tried one of their other flavours and it wasn't smooth, On my quest to find that ingredient now I guess?

maybe its more down to an ingredient they dont or maybe they get their sums wrong.

mix up some 3mg gear like you have already mentioned and report back with your results.

ive always put it down to the concentrates ive done all the tests with nic pg/vg no flavour with no problems i use everthing liquid.
some flavours are worse than others and the only way ive found to reduce the harshness is by adding other flavours to calm them down.
dont usually have problems with custards though tends to be more fruits i find harsh, coconut and watermelon seem seem to be good at reducing the harshness ive found. i find most single flavours taste a bit rough on their own.
have you tried anything from the likes of t-juice do they give you a harsh vape.
im by no means the most experianced but find flavour balancing the biggest cause of sour harsh juice.

Hahah at one point I was convinced those guys were selling me 0 nic but I did in fact try another juice by that brand and it had quite the harsh hit.
