Help please

try to refrain from saying smoke as vape is not smoke.

depending how hot it is in your room could be slightly thinning out the juice and thats why its leaking but i have no idea why your other half uses the same kit and it doesnt leak.
maybe try not to tilt it too much when you vape. ive had a freemax dump a whole tank all over my top when im sitting back in a chair and tilt it to my mouth. a fraction less tilt and no more leakage.

Strange your partner can Vape your setup without it leaking. It's as if your tank has a personal vendetta.. Not making alot of sense to me :hmm:

Is it 70vg or 70pg.. 70pg would be piss thin and more likely to leak

^^^ That. What’s the name of the liquid, if you’re not sure what the 70% is? In some - higher nicotine especially - liquids, it’s 70% PG, which is usually too thin for sub ohm tanks.

My partner can smoke all of my mods without any leakage so it must be something I'm doing wrong but I have no clue what it is!

How are you inhaling? Are you literally just breathing in through the tank? This is direct-to-lung vaping, which is what the type of tank you have is designed to do. Or, are you trying to smoke it like a cigarette, by drawing the vapour into your mouth first, before taking it down to your lungs?

Hi Guys, thanks again for the replies. Yes I'm using it in wattage mode. I've been using a Vaptio Capt'n mod with a different Smok tank and the same result, leaking oil all over the place. What I should have mentioned is that my first vape was an Aegis mini with a Cerberus tank and I've never once had an issue with it, I'm back to smoking that for the time being. My partner can smoke all of my mods without any leakage so it must be something I'm doing wrong but I have no clue what it is! This is giving me a serious headache, man I need a cigarette!
Hi @Pete42 , I've got a few different Smok tanks, some more prone to leaking than others.
My tfv12 baby tank would not stop leaking until I did the following.
When filling the tank, turn off airflow ring, fill it up, turn upside down, wait 5 secs, open air flow ring, wait 5 secs, turn tank back up the right way.
Since following this slightly OCD procedure it doesn't leak any more.
Hope this makes sense.
All about maintaining the pressure in the tank to stop it leaking.

As @Leni says, how are you vaping?
Now that Temp Control is out of the way it does sound like the results as if you are MTL (mouth to lung) which not only would be hellish hot but also would leave excess juice inside the coil and it's only path to escape is through the airflow ring and leak.
