Help with burning

Hi guys,
Looking for some help if possible. I have a SMOK Stick P25 with 0.17 V12 coil in. I’m using 70/80 VG juices with added nicotine.
I keep getting a burnt toast within 4-6 hours of changing the coils. I’m doing everything I’m supposed to be inc. cleaning the vape between changes, priming the coil well and waiting before vaping.
The only way I can get it to vape without a burnt toast is to leave the top slightly open rather than fully closing it.
Can anyone advise on what I might be doing wrong or any tips?

Hi and welcome to the planet.
Smok coils are your problem. They are in most instances shite due to very bad QC
70vg should be the max used. 80 will just ruin a coil a lot quicker.
Can't advise on other coils as I've not used smok coils in over three years so not sure what might be comparable if any. Hopefully someone else will be able to advise.
