What's new

Hi from Herts

Hello Hawkwind and welcome to the Planet!

Just a thought on the marzipan - have you considered Almond, if it's available. I've got some pistachio, but it smells like paint solvent, so I would recommend that - but ground almonds is what marzipan has a lot of in it...

AND - A week in and already building coils - you don't know how depressed that makes me feel! I'm a year in and still can't get the hang of it! Well done!

Thanks again for the welcomes. I think that Aussie marzipan is no nic ... after just a week, I'm not quite ready for the chemistry set ;)

Thanks. Yep, clearly anything almond is a start.. amoretto would be one. Even something like maraschino (not strictly almond, but cherry pip) may do it for me.

As to the coils... I don't exactly enjoy it, and still some shorts. I think those from a fishing background have better success, especially fly tiers. I may get myself one of thos 'helping hands' jobbies with a magnifying glass attached.

cheers

Hello and welcome Hawkwind, not seen marzipan liquid but why not if I did I would buy it! Hangsen do a Amaretto liquid just seen it on E liquid World may be worth a shot

Thanks for the tips and welcomes. The cherry bakewell tart flavour looks promising.

Hawkwind found the little puffer doing marzipan number 53

Nice find, thanks ... don't think I qualify for local delivery, but I did read something about postage.
Hopefully be receiving some marzipan from Flavour Arts at the start of next week...so that could well satisfy my bizarre needs.

cheers
