Hi all,

Looking for a little Newbie help if thats ok!?

Following a cancer care last year, I decided to take up vaping a year ago after 30 years of smoking various substances! I started out with an Innokin T18e pen which has been ok but I was having to change the coils every few days. So last week bought a Voopoo Argus x. My question is this. I vape 6mg juice about 1.5/2 10ml bottles a week. I have been using a 0.3ohm coil using 15-20 watts. Is this the best strength of coil to use at such a low wattage? What would be the idea ohm strength for my kind of vaping? I am liking the Pineapple Ice flavour from Vampire Vape, which is quite sweet. I have found with the current coil I am getting some bubbling and hot juice coming into my mouth. I have tried to figure it out online but have got myself really confused! Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks in advance,

Doug

Welcome @Wookiee to POTV.

the guys will be along to offer you some guidance but hope your doing ok

Hi and welcome to POTV @Wookiee
:2thumbsup:

0.3 coils are more for subohm vaping so should be used at higher wattages

What juice is it? Freebase or Nic Salts? 50/50 or higher like 70/30 vg/pg?
Do you mouth to lung like a cigarette ie: (mtl) or draw deep to the lungs ie: Direct to lung (dtl)
What coil resistance were you using on the Innokin T18 kit?

Once we understand this we can offer some more help for you. If you MTL you need a higher resistance coil 0.6 and above and lower wattage
Lots of coil choice for the Argus X for a tighter mouth to lung ie: R1 or R2 and TM1 or TM2. (0.8 or 1.2). The VM coils are more for DTL a 0.3 coil should be vaped around 40 to 100 watts

Check out their website and scroll down for coil options and resistance. https://m.voopoo.com/argus-series/argus-x.html
