Thanks for the replies, sorry I should have been a bit more specific! I mouth to lung vape, the Vampire juice is a 50/50 6mg not nic salts (as I couldnt find any with a low enough nicotine strength).

In the T18e I was using a 1.5ohm coil.

So what would be a comparable coil for the Argus X?

i will let others explain the coils.
on the nic salts. they only come in 10mg or 20mg as far as i know but they are much smoother than standard freebase nicotine you get in normal bottles like the vampire you are using at 6mg.
they are smoother but exorb much quicker so you get a quicker nicotine hit so dont need as much intake.
20mg nic salts are as smooth as 3mg freebase so for me 10 minutes of salts is enough to last me a good few hours. any more and my head would be buzzing and that is using a mouth to lung tank at around 10-14watts.

ive tried salts in the past but are not for me as i chain vape and have a mod in my hand every waking minute of the day. i can easily get through 30-50ml of 3mg liquid a day but i do direct to lung at around 50watts.
so for you using mouth to lung at much lower wattage a 10ml bottle of salts could last weeks if not a month. DeeDee would be able to give a better explanation how long a salt bottle lasts.

The T18e pen is a mouth to lung (MTL) device with relatively low wattage. For something similar, you will probably need a coil of between 0.8 and 1.8 ohms, and to fire it at between 12 and 18w.

A coil lasting for a few days is probably about right to be honest though. It depends on what juice you are using. Some folk use the same coil for a couple of weeks, but personally I like them fresh and used to change them every 4 days or so.

There is one mod that came out recently that promised longer coil life, and I heard good things about it, but I can't remember what it's called off the top of my head.

Edit to add, from this selection (so small by doddery old man eyes can't read it) it looks like you need the R1, R2, TR1, TM1, or TM2 coils. The one on the right at the top, the one on the left at the bottom, and the three on the right at the bottom.

Thanks for the info....Think I'll try a 0.8ohm one and see how i get on. Still a bit puzzled as to why there are 2 types of 0.8ohm coils with the same wattage range?

That's the recent innokin mods, the Z80 and the Kroma 217, they have the coil refresh and it does work.

The Refresh menu option on the mod appears to fire your coil at 40% of your set wattage for 4 seconds (auto mode) or 8 seconds (extended mode) and draws in more e-liquid to in effect clean your coil. I don't know if anyone has independently tested it to see if it does extend coil life.

It looks like one is a mesh coil, and one a standard coil - they’re different internal designs, will probably vape a bit differently to one another. I wouldn’t worry about it at this point tbh. Welcome to the forum
