Well firstly I have to admit to "lurking" around the fringes for about a week now wondering wether or not to jump in but hey, here I am for what it's worth I took the plunge, (makes me sound like a 5 year old too scared to get in the swimming pool on holiday with his parents lol). Anyway, I've been vaping for around 2 weeks now and by and large its been a positive experience. Not quite as good as I was hoping but I think that's just down to finding the right set-up. At the moment I'm using an ego-t with a ce5 clearomiser. I'm getting a good throat hit for about 4 or 5 "drags" and then don't really taste anything but I think that's probably for a different topic. Anyway I look forward to getting to know you all, you seem like a great bunch.

:welcome1: to the forum and congrats on giving up the stinkies! We are all a friendly bunch, so if you have any questions feel free to ask and you'll get plenty of responses! Finding the right set up for you and your taste buds is half the fun but you will get there - don't forget, your taste buds and body will be adjusting to not inhaling so much crap anymore, so you will probably find a juice you love to vape, then a few days later it'll taste vile! Stick with it though and you'll be amazed at how much better you feel!

Thanks Woowoo, I'm using a "rolling tobacco" juice from smokshop at the moment although I've also tried a golden virginia, a "b&h" and an amber leaf juice but to be honest there's not really that much difference between them. All the flavoured juices don't really appeal to me at the moment, maybe in time but at the moment I need that "tobacco" taste.

Hiya and welcome :) you may find you need a couple of juices to chop and change throughout the day. Tastebuds are funny old buggers and, although we can quite happily smoke one brand of to a tobacco for years, our tongues get used to juice flavour very quickly and they can become almost tasteless. It's all trial and error at first :D

Hi yoda and welcome.
Re: getting good drags, are you remembering to "tip" the clearo occasionally to make sure you keep the wicks wet? I could be talking out my arse here as never used a ce5 but presuming most clearos are the same

Hiya Purplefowler, thanks for the welcome. I do tend to change between two different juices during the day as the kit i got to begin with came with two of everything, so at the moment i've got the smokshop "rolling tobacco" in one and the amber leaf in the other one so when one tends to lose its flavour i change to the other one for a bit and then vice versa but like you say it's gonna be a bit of trial and error to start with, but i think i've come to the right place for all the advice i need.

Hi cohibacohiba, and thanks for the welcome. I have been tipping my clearo now and then to keep the wick wet. I've done a lot of looking around on the net since i started vaping to try and learn as much as i can about it. I saw on one site something about getting a pair of nose pinchers and pulling on the metal "thingy" at the bottom of the clearo a little to produce more vapour, wether this is advisable or not i don't know, maybe a topic for the how to section?

Hi EjuiceBox and Roadhoguk thanks for the welcomes ;), seems like a nice place to be this, might stay a while :read:
