Anyone.made one? I.could get a shot of my mates lathe and im considering doing a wee project. Il make a steel one first for practice before moving onto titanium if he has blades capible with the lathe

cool, it would be cool to see what you make. How are you going to do the electrical insulation for the central post?

yep, I have often wondered how difficult it would be to make a home made dripper but that insulating piece baffles me.

I don't have lathe skills but could make the dripper chamber out of ceramics and possibly cannabalise an electrical plug to use the brass legs(?) as posts. It would be great if there was some type of heat setting insulating material.

I Don't think it was a dig at your skills, more of a genuine question. What are you going to insulate with /how?

Nylon would work, but you'd need very fine tools. I'd be inclined to cheat slightly, and use a pre made insulator from a spares bag then make the post to fit. :)

Yeah. A STEAL dripper sounds like a good idea.

I had a look around for peek washers a while ago as I thought I might find a use for them sometime, and they were available. Can't remember where the best place I found was as I seem to have lost the bookmark now but as an example, they have peek in various guises here. Peek sheets available here also. You can no doubt find better prices with a bit of research.
