It was a very tame Barn Owl at a Wildlife Centre I visited. You could stroke the Owl and when you did it performed a little shivery type dance. Have an affinity with Barn Owls now.

Have seen quite a few flying displays with owls in. Had one fly just a few inches above me and could feel the rush of air as it passed. Totally silent in flight though
