As I understood it, and I may have got it wrong, scientific guidance pertaining to masks was not clear initially.

The benefits against covid were not proven and this was being weighed against the possible downsides - increased face touching / fiddling, a false sense of security, and available masks not being of a regulatory standard,

My home county of Shropshire seems to have got off lightly so far, I have been wearing one regardless but I seem to be in the minority for now.

I'm all for them though I doubt the effectiveness of 'consumer' masks, obviously they are better than nothing.

Hopefully the government have learned the lesson and are stocking up on N95's or better for this years flu season.

I've been wearing one for ages when I'm out and about .... I don't really like it but I figured it was better than not.

... also mine make me look like I have a pair of panties on my face, which is kind of fun.

Oh and I get to use my photoshopped Trump again. (yeah I know - too much time on my hands)

It's a good thing, but I wish I didn't have to wear one. I cant see a thing ordinarily but with the mask on there's no chance, due to my glasses steaming up. Going to try the baby shampoo trick, a drop on each lens then a super quick rinse (a second or two) under the tap, then allow to dry, works with my swimming googles. Bananas.

Edit: I have 150 of those 3 ply medical style masks, just ordered another 100, and also getting some ffp2.

Same problem here, and I can't see a bloody thing if I take my glasses off, so that is a no go. Another trick is shaving foam, when applied to a motorcycle visor, left for a few minutes, then rubbed off completely, not rinsed at all, it'll stop any fogging for most of the day.

Doesn't scratch the visor, but I'm not sure if the same would apply to glasses, I'm too scared to try it, luckily I rarely have to wear a mask.

I now have much smaller glasses than I did a few weeks ago, I've noticed they no longer fog up when riding, so I'm interested to see if the same will apply with a mask now.

Frilly !!!? [emoji23]

seriously not far off, they have like elastic around the edge that makes them look crinkly (which isn't far off frilly) and one of them is black with white polka dots. :D

they kind of have a gusset too, I'm pretty sure they were made in a lingerie factory.

I have worn one from the start when in public. Should of been in from the start, I'm sure most people understand the benefits to their health over their appearance.
