[email protected] just realized when i went out for my monthly trip to the grocery store i didnt hand sanitize after i touched the buttons at the self checkout...
Oh man...big screw up on my part...first time ever in 5 months now

Edit: Im definitely switching to one glove/one no glove hands.

Well, I did say a few days ago that I consider wearing gloves in a shop more important than a face mask. :)

Personally I think self service checkouts should be switched off at the moment.

All the major supermarkets offer home delivery on grocery shopping, and some have offered priority slots to people with health conditions that make them vulnerable to Covid 19. I usually book a slot about 2 weeks in advance, and add all the essentials to my ‘virtual trolley’ to secure the slot. Then the evening before my order’s due, I can add anything or remove anything I change my mind about. If you’re smart about it, you can get the delivery charge down to £1 :)

Unfortunately it is not that simple for certain people.

A friend of mine tried to do an online order some time ago.
Maybe it depends on where you live, but he was offered a delivery slot in 3 weeks time.

Also what about the people that do not have a computer, let alone a broadband connection.

What seem simple solutions to some people, are not that easy to many. :)

Not sure BBB is all that tech savvy.
I'm guessing he's on dial up as he only manages to post in the early hours when tinternet traffic is low :rotflmao:

Not at all old boy.

Very tech savvy for the last 30 years, including setting up the software, and hardware on industrial networks.
Not on dial up either, in fact I have a 200 Mbit fibre optic connection at home. :)

Main reason I am busy in the daytime / evening is that now the lockdown is easing, I am out shopping, visiting the pubs, and bookies, with no mask on for 12 hours a day. :18:

For all the guys that complain about people who are exempt from wearing a mask because we don't care about endangering you.

The answer is simple, take care of yourself, and keep 2 metres away from us if you encounter one of us in a shop in a shop. :)

If you believe it is crap that we can't wear a mask because of our breathing, try it for yourself, stuff a tissue tightly up each nostril, a bit of cotton wool in each cheek, put a mask on, and go do your weekly shopping, see how you cope...................:18:

Don't forget that there are many visible disabilities (two of which I also have) that make me exempt, plus the hidden disabilities that many people suffer from.

High Risk - Going to Bars - Dont need a Mask.
Low to Medium Risk - Grocery Shopping - Mask Required
Does this make sense ?

Cracked me up when I read this mate. :18:

Quite right, it does seem a bit strange, the business of.
"High Risk - Going to Bars - Don't need a Mask.
Low to Medium Risk - Grocery Shopping - Mask Required"

Then there is this bit.
"Outdoor restaurant dining - Medium Risk.
"Outdoor picnic, or Al Fresco dining - Low Risk"

Makes you wonder what goes through the minds of the people that write this stuff.
But bearing in mind the bit that says bars are banned from opening in SA, that seems to indicate that this guy lives in Florida...............Enough said...............:18:

Mind you @Social Misfit don't really matter much to us, as we are both mask exempt anyway. :)
