Im not sure if anyone can tell what a coil is made out of from a picture [emoji23]
Where did you get the coil from? Should say the specs on the packet??
Not sure id be messing around with a coil i knew nothing about but at least your using a regukated mod [emoji85]

I want to use TC, have put an Alien coil. Don't know what it is made of. How do I make it out (outta context, I know but see picture)?[emoji13]

no the air bubbles aren't hotspots, I've never heard of hotspots in e-liquid?!

How do you know what it's made of? you don't unless you are some kind of metals expert .... where did you get it from?

Your coil wraps look out of sinc next time make sure they are even as yours look wider at one end like you wrapped it wound a cone rather than a coiling rod.
If your wire is made from one of the more common tc wires NI200, Titanium or one of the many stainless steel wires then you need to set your tc to suit that wire.
If the wire is kanthal then you can only use wattage mode.

Any liquid that is shaken will get bubbles if there is air in the bottle and air is needed to give space to shake up and mix

Zeus tank takes both the ends of the wire in the same direction. That's why a Premade coil had to be rewound using a pen refill and since GB (through Yodel) has failed to deliver me my wire and winder as of now... And I'm still waiting. So yeah!

I've read threads on hotspots in nic when not shaken good enough. About the coil, I don't think too much about things, I just do (not a good thing, right!). I set it to SS mode at 440 F at 60 watts... It worked fine..and used it for an hour. Then switched to wattage mode again since the material was unknown.

Noted. I noticed that it changes it colour aftera while. Mine went more gold like as it steeped. Cheers!

Ok but you would be better using a screwdriver for now to wrap the coil round and make sure you make it tighter wound keep hold of one end and wrap and push each wrap to the next one then do the next wrap as tight as poss until you have the amount of wraps you want. Watch a couple of youtube vids on coil wrapping. Don't worry we all had to learn these things, no one is having a go or taking the mickey we are all trying to help and give good advice. Better luck next time mate. I still don't get wh.at you mean by hotspots in liquid. Coils can have hotspots though again look on youtube for a better explaination and good luck
