What's new

I am new here...

I would never use flavourings that contain oils, fats or sugar. I think each to their own tho, nobody is saying that vaping is risk free but in my opinion, compared to smoking, I would say that the risks are far less regardless.

Agreed. FlavourArt also has a project called Clear Stream that tests flavourings and Dr Konstantinos Farsalinos is also starting a crowd funding to get testing done to find out whats harmful and at what levels.

i will take vaping over smoking any day. I didnt care for 22 years the 4000+ chemicals that I was putting into my bodily and knowingly raising my risk of death, so the handful that are in ecigs dont bother me at all.

Couldn't agree more with this :)

Oh totally. Even the most shabby flavour oil should have less chemicals. They are actually relatively simple.
By the way, I say oil out of habit, but food flavours are usually dissolved in PG or alcohol.
I am glad he will do testing, shame he has to use crowd funding for it! It should be funded by the EU, they are the ones that scream for safety and regulations!

Hello and welcome to the forum, interesting read. We get sent lists of the ingredients for flavours but on the whole it has this sort of ratio.

55% Propylene Glycol
25% Glycerol
3.6% Nicotine
Plus about another 15 types of natural extracts depending on the flavour each are between 0.5-2%. Obviously this vary s on the flavour and nicotine level selected.

123vapour, would it be possible to have those available on your website for downloads? Not sure how possible this is, but if you look at www.grapefruit.com for cosmetic fragrance oils, each has a downloadable attachment with the MSDS sheet.
I think you seem to be getting more of a basic ingredient list, which is good, but not quite there yet. I did a Google Search for MSDS and flavour and only Hangsen seem to be providing them freely. I found one for tobacco flavour, not looked further. It shows the actual flavour molecules or whatever they are called which are used.

MSDS sheets are great :)

I do believe Cupcake World has produced theirs for download

The eu won't pay for it once you look closer at the issue you will realize as most of us do that the eu aren't interested in proper well conducted research they just stumble around blindly they''ve been told time and time again by experts that vaping is much safer but they just don't want to listen any way welcome to the planet.
