What's new

I heard rumour, govs secretly passing law.

See? Even starting a thread with limited info has a purpose, so much good stuff coming in!

I'm gonna be drafting a mail to my local MP once I have time to sit and write properly. She's Labour, but she has been fantastic about making sure she represents constituents' views even if they're not in keeping with the overall party line, so I have some hope for her.

And I'll be doing my bit over the weekend too, using @Fleabag's and @MrKraken's suggestions as an illustration of a viable alternative to what seems to have been agreed.

Who knows? I might even go for Cameron and Clegg to see what sort of response that gets...

EDIT: I'm on my tablet, and don't have a "like" button, so apologies for the current lack of likes from me. Probably just as well, as I would have worn it out by now:D

only Fleabag and MrKraken's suggestions - that hurts man:assassin:

Damn! Its all going pear-shaped! I'm sorry! The licencing, the licencing!

I'm going to bed. :D Way too much excitement (and stupidity, on my part) for one night!

only kidding dude just as long as we can keep vaping its all good:assassin:

Absolutely! The time has come, again, to regroup and start letting ourselves be heard once more. And don't worry too much, I've managed to store enough base juice to survive Armageddon! One way or another, we'll be fine! :D

I really think that part of the problem with the MHRA and the MP's is the unbelievable slowness of the system they use. MHRA are still referring to Cig a likes as if they were the peak of technology and the main product in the market. Problem being that because it takes so long to do the studies, get the reports etc The information being fed to most MP's consists of out of date studies of inferior products done by people who didn't understand the product or how it is used. How do we get the latest info on the latest products into a short easy to read and understand position paper that MP's can read quickly, and how do we then get that to them. We also need to get the public at large to understand that "IT'S NOT SMOKING". And as a final point I think we need to get all these E-bay sellers describing every item as "E-Shisha" banned, as This is where the majority of kids get their idea of "pens" from, they see an Ego on there described as an "E-Shisha pen" and then see one on a market stall and understandably think that it's the same thing, not knowing about the 0 nic content. At which point unscrupulous traders will just make the sale any way....

As far as getting a new study together send them a copy of the potv wiki with a few vendors and admins names who agree to be contacted by email should they need any clarification
