In Praise of Ekowool

I haven't had this yet - but then as i say only had it fa a week and rebuilt me Spheroid 3x, 2 Evods, the SS Dream and iGo without it fraying - or anywhere near as much as me previous wick.

I actually like using the ekowool - whereas i disliked silica beforehand

As Wigglypops says tho - lick it or a drop of juice would sort it

Well all I can say is the stuff I have that I thought was Ecowool cannot be it!!

The stuff I have frays if you just look at it..........it's a royal PITA.

Thats the stuff .. everyone seems to love it so I'm obviously doing something wrong ... I cant stand it .. when I do manage to make an coil that hasnt frayed to the bone it tastes friggin awful

For me, it is great with some devices, but in my opinion, the spheroid is not one of them, I just find that it doesn't deliver juice from filler to coil adequately, but I like it in pure rda-type devices.

Edit: I only have the 2mm eko though, maybe 1mm would be better.

Right, I have some 2mm & 3mm here, and not used it yet. Is it best to use on Kangers etc or on RBA like AGA-T2, which is what I bought it for??

Same here, I redid my dripper with it yesterday.........I just would'nt wick at all.

I've just re wicked a couple of evods with this stuff & it was dead easy to use

I always flame it to glowing before i use it - and Flavour has come through well once soaked.

Been great on me Spheroid using M+P's DIY Praze at 60/40 VG/PG so far - using the 'Bunny Ears' wick

I'm using 2mm in the igo-l and 1mm in the kayfun, been wicking great for me
