0.22 at 180watts,!!! I have 0.21 build and I am at 32 watts... Wtf... How is 180watts vapable, must be like sucking on a boiling kettle !
But your .21 build is done right with a sensible about of mass the op probably has a SS parallel build with half a ton of wire that needs 180w to vape like a 65w subtank [emoji23]0.22 at 180watts,!!! The thread was not pointless you clearly learned something your coils are probably made with too much mass or your mods shit and not delivering the correct power [emoji6]Welp this entire thread was kinda pointless lol.
I have a very good experience at about 120 watts, I just wasn't allowing the coil to ramp up to a high enough temp first. Anything below 120 watts literally won't do much which is a bit strange. I'm very much a noob to this so my coils may be ridiculously too big, requiring a load of power but I don't know. A calculator says at 120 watts I'm drawing 22.2 amps which is within Mooch's Pulse maximum draw on my batteries so I'm not too concerned.
Even at 180 watts the vape wasn't massively hot, it was warm and kicked off a lot of vapour, but nowhere near burnt or anything.
Cheers for your input guys I will do some more research into this then consider some new coils that more fit my requirements.
Great point, These were the two coils I used, they came with the RDA: https://www.wotofo.com/Wotofo-Juggernaut-Prebuilt-Coils-10pcs.htmlThe thread was not pointless you clearly learned something your coils are probably made with too much mass or your mods shit and not delivering the correct power [emoji6]

Yeah I thought they were the issue, no worries. That's correct, 22.2 amps per cell (that's when the batteries are at their lowest point) ... at 180w it's going to be around 33A, so yeah at least 10A over what I would consider anywhere near 'safe'
... those coils, way too much metal to heat up.
If you would like to try something else I'll send you a pair of these... it's a flat core with a 32awg wrap, they'll be chucking clouds and flavour at 60w - 80w ... just let me know and I'll PM and get your details for the mail (presuming you are in the UK)

As for the coils, thanks a lot for the offer but I'm going to be picking up some more cotton and juice in a few days so I'm planning on picking up a few different types of coils then, so I'd say give them to someone who is desperate for them
Any coils in particular that you would recommend?
Also I'll look into some higher drain cells just to be safe
Cheers mate
Alright mate, cheers for your help, without it I might be sat with 2 vented batteries and a melted mod in a couple of weeksJust some regular claptons, fused claptons, aliens or something like that ... anything else is just overkill really imo.
Those VTC6 should be fine up to 90-100w (in a dual cell mod) which really should be more than enough wattage for a less crazy coil.... so I'd see how you get on before buying more cells.
