What's new

Is this safe?

It is rather like the male psychology of car buying. Often in London l see high powered super cars going round the area. There’s a Lamborghini Diablo down he road , and l wonder how ofen he ever gets to drive the thing over 60 mph. It doesn’t stop people wanting them though.

Anyone who says they do it for the taste or quality is lying. End of. Still if they want to replace their coils every day or so....

People who vape at over 100w make me think of boy racers screwing the arse off there engines between traffic lights then slamming on at the last second smashing the shit out of Thier brakes sitting in the driver's seat in a state of manic frenzy and overcharged excitement before screeming away for 50 yards to the next set of lights with no sense of reason or purpose other than to burn all Thier fuel and wreck the engine and brakes because they can.

I think it’s that mad neurotic music they blast out that causes this.

I genuinely don’t get this obsession with high wattage.

My advice is to find the sweet spot for your device and coil. I’d suggest this is likely to be between 40w-80w. I don’t know anyone who vapes at 180w

I have a theory about this. I think it's insecurity. Vaper doesn't really know what they're doing, so they go for the most extreme experience ... because that's what they think all the 'Pro' vapers are doing. Once you can vape on coils made from intertwined coat hangers, that makes you one of the Pros, even though you actually have no fucking clue what you're doing, at least it looks like you do. I have noticed this seems to be an almost exclusively male thing, and to me it just comes across as the almost primitive need to demonstrate penis size :22:

The @Subohmoctopus phenomenon.

Nonsense, and their must be quite a few of us on here who are liars! One of my setups is constantly set between 120-130w and I get outstanding flavour from it, as for coils, this set has been in in for about 6 weeks and they're absolutely fine.

I vape on the whole at around 12 watts. But I also have set ups and coils that require at least 100 watts to use satisfactorily. High wattage vaping is a genre in itself. Your build has to be appropriate (often high mass) as does your atty. The point in vaping like this is that it’s an entirely different experience to the 12 watts thang, and juices taste remarkably different. And of course, clouds bro clouds. High wattage doesn’t equate to hot, violent vapes necessarily. I run a couple of mahoosive simple fused Claptons in a Voltrove mini at around 120 watts, and it’s a cool, flavoursome amd somewhat voluminous experience. It’s great. Even for an MTL kinda guy like me. Variety is the spice of something or other as they might say. If they could be arsed [emoji23]

I just got an IJOY Zenith 3 mod and Diamond sub-ohm tank, complete with 2 .15 mesh coils, from ecigone for just £29.99 and I vape it at 3.6. :57:

Yeah...
I’ve got half a dozen setups in three figures. I listen to loud music with the windows closed and I have a more than ample sized penis. I rewick only when required and I get months from my coils.

We’ve been here before with the name slinging for different genres of vaping, thought the bigots had exited stage right? Appears the whispy fuckers are still here!

But I guess nobody knows everything about everything more than a smart arse huh? [emoji4]

I do love the way you type Dave [emoji7]
