Item received, not as advertised?

Wanted to post this question on General Chat, but no 'post new thread' available? (I haven't made enough posts yet perhaps?)

So posting it here: Bought what was advertised as a "Protank Mini", but when it arrived it clearly wasn't as the same as the pictures on the site (not named...yet).

Not a protank mini if that's what was stated when you purchased it. It as the same look as an MT3 mini so would contact vendor and ask for what you ordered.

Have you contacted the vendor?
It may have just been a packing error...

I have just done that. But wanted to have some clue what he had sent me first, so i don't get fobbed off. The vendor has pics of MT3's on his site, so i've point out the obvious difference using his own pictures. Thanks for helping.

Probably wouldn't have even noticed, but this MT3 is already crapping out. 3 days and hardly produces vapour anymore. I almost keep checking to see if the coil is firing as it feels more like i'm sucking on a dead stick. Also getting leakage/gurgling/wet battery connection.

The coil set up on these and pro tanks are all same sort of setup. If you look on you tube there will be information vids on how to fix or re-coil it. I would still get your order sorted with the vendor and get what you originally paid for.

I'll aim to get it replaced for what i actually paid for. TBH, this particular MT3 hasn't been great even out of the box. Flavours are muted and a much harder draw than i am used to or would expect.

But i might re-wick it this evening (before i send it back). I've fired the coil up while out of the atomizer and it seems to be working ok. But the wick seems a bit..crap. I'll try cheesecloth and see if it is just the wick.
