hi could anyone tell me if its worth making your own juice or just buy "ready made"?

cheers rob

Thats entirely up to you :) Once you realize the cost savings, making your own would seem like the logical choice though.

I'd definitely say mix your own. Mixing lets you fine tune nicotine strength, flavourings and PG/VG content to your own personal tastes.

That said, the occasional ready made treat is always nice. ;)

I do both! I have my regular vape which is Grants Vanilla Custard then when I feel like a change I mix my own, usually fruit flavours atm :)

I'm new to vaping so perhaps the more experienced will advise you better. That being said...

It seems most places are selling 30ml bottles for a bit under £15 give or take. However there are also places selling 100ml for £15. Obviously these work out much cheaper if you're sure you like the taste and nic content.

If you're buying smallish quantities of ingredients to make your own I reckon that it'll end up about £10 - £12 per 100ml, so not a drastic saving against the pre-mixed large bottles, but a fair bit against the small ones. But I also reckon you'll have some ingredients left after others run out, so it'll probably work out cheaper for your next ingredient purchase. If you're buying larger quantities it'll work out much cheaper. It'll also be cheaper if making low strength nic content, as it's the liquid nic that's expensive.

As previous posters have said you'll be able to adjust your nic content, flavour, throat hit and amount of vapour to suit. I suppose it comes down to whether you want to faff about with potions lol.

With the 100 ml bottles for £15 that have been mentioned, you have to be wary of the ingredients. The usual adage applies, if it is too good to be true then it is! At least when you mix your own you know what you are putting and and how much of it too.

Ive always been a ready made man ... on the grounds I had never yet mixed a juice I like! however ..that has changed in the last 24 hours and Im currently puffing away on some New york cheese cake that is outstanding.

wont stop me buying my favs tho :D

Vermillion River, House of Liquids, redwood blend and MOV will always have a place on my shelf regardless

Depends what you mean by worth.

If you mean it in the monetary sense, then yes.
If you mean it in the peace of mind sense (choosing the quality of ingredients) then yes.
If you mean it in the faffin' about sense then the answer is yes and no. Making a juice is work, but not so much work once you've nailed a juice recipe down (5 mins).
If you mean worth in the sense of gaining a deeper understanding of the stuff you're inhaling then it's a yes.
If you mean worth in the sense that you might create a juice so crappy in taste that vaping on dog shit might in comparison sound appealing, again it's a yes and a no. Trail and error, experimentation, pulling hair out and then satisfaction.
If you mean worth in the sense that a little effort brings forth much satisfaction then the answer is a definite YES ;)

Agreed all the above. Yes as pointed out you do save money making your own. If or when you do bear in mind the precautions you DO have to take when making your own liquid that nicotine concentrate you will be handling can make you very ill at the worst kill you so wear nitrile gloves when mixing even if ur advanced you just don't know when you might spill any on your skin. Another thing to bear in mind is that when you make your own flavour that you can vape it straight away but a weeks plus steeping vastly improves flavour and matures the juice. If you have the patience for these things I would say go for it.
