juice buy or make your own?

I'm thinking of giving this a go. I've watched a couple of vids and read up and it's seems relatively simple, although I'm sure there's a lot of trial and error involved. There are a couple of things I'm confused about: "A drop" is often referred to as a measurement in most recipes; this seems quite an ambiguous unit. What's the standard for measuring a drop? Also I understand the difference between PG and VG but I didn't realise that nicotine bases were also PG or VG based. What to go for? I guess the same applies here as for your choice of dilutant.

You'll probably be wise to stick with either syringe measuring or using only dropper measuring (from the same type of dropper bottle - i.e., not all drops are equal). I wouldn't mix the two methods though - best to keep it simple. Personally I'm preferring to use syringe. Have a look at the calculators and most of them have both units stated.

As one of the posts says above this mixing malarky can be as sloppy or scientific as you want to make it. And this is good, because really you just want to give it a go and not over think this. Having said that, you should always overthink when it comes to the percentage of nic you've got in your mix (double check, triple check lol). To be on the safe side it's good practice to put all the bottles you're going to be using in front or beside you and then immediately put them away as soon as you've used that particular bottle. That way you won't be wondering if you've put that nic or vg or pg or whatever in the mix or not...

Nic comes in both pg or vg. Up to you what you go for. I've chosen pg nic because I'm guessing that vg is going to be thicker and thus a pain in the arse for the syringe. So a typical order for me would be ordering a pg nic and a pg liquid (non nic) and a few flavours online. You can get your vg from boots.

Although I'm new to this , I have started to make my own and saved a lot of money, treat my self to the premium stuff now and again
