What's new

Juice consumption

10ml...in 2 days... I wish I was going through that.

Would save me monies... I bought a new tank lately (Falcon from horizontech) and it guzzles juices more than any I've had before. A past tank, on average, 10ml would do me a few hours or more so I'd say 25ml per day.

Now I'm easily filling the tank 4 times a day and getting through 40ml easily. No problems though, the flavour from it is better than any I've had so I think it's worth the extra juice.

Give it time, find a juice you enjoy and maybe a few new items and you'll be going through juice quicker ;)

Its good to know im not using an insane amount like i thought i was! Lol
I agree with what you said about the flavour being worth the extra juice! The big baby beast produces some intense flavours although I have nothing to compare it to
& i think I already am going through more! I'm loving vaping so far and I'm already excited to get some new kit .
I only have a 2ml tank though which is annoying!

You're just getting started and you will only enjoy it more as you try new things and find better things.

I enjoyed the smok tanks but the problem I had was the stock coils. I highly recommend the freemax fireluke or horizontech Falcon for your next tank... The flavour on both is better than any smok I have used.

2ml capacity doesn't go very far does it? I'm just glad my Falcon came with a straight glass which increases capacity otherwise I'd be filling up about 10 times a time lol

I don't doubt that

Does 'stock coils' mean pre-made coils? Lol I've not heard that term much so I'm unsure! What problems did you have?

I like the look of both of them tanks so I may have to give one a try, thanks

You're not wrong, i feel like I spend more time filling up than I do vaping haha

Basically the coils you buy for the tank... I just found after a few days the performance of them just tanked off and after less than a week they were completely done. Not to mention the occasions where they lasted a few days before being completely done. And given that 3 coils at about 15 quid were lasting 2-3 weeks, it wasn't cheap which nearly made me stop vaping until I found the fireluke. I then switched to a RDA but got a Falcon last week and have no issues with it so I'd certainly recommend both when you decide you want a new tank.

Once you get a juice you love, that 2ml tank will get so tiring because you'll be vaping more often, or that's what it was like for me lol

Ahh really? I've been changing mine around once a week, I haven't had any problems that I can tell, I've just changed them for precaution to be honest lol.
How do you know when a coil has had enough?

I'm definitely looking in to a new tank, but I'm also wanting a smaller cheaper vape for when I go out drinking lol, I don't usually go out often but the last few weeks I have been out a few times and ive ended up smoking cigarettes purely because I'm worried about taking my mod out and dropping it or it leaking in my bag as soon as I get home I'm back on my vape because I prefer it! And to be honest smoking cigarrettes for the night doesn't make me hooked on them again Lol but I'd still prefer to not have them and vape whilst out!

If the vape is still good no need to change the coil, dont throw away good coils needlessly. Coils can taste unpleassant if they havn't had time to wick properly or they are literally spent(finished with), but whilst the vape is still good, crack on. You'll know the difference in taste alone(not to be confused with dry hit because you're vaping the tank too low or puffing too frequently). Think of wicks like a sponge you're straining and toping up with water, if you strain faster than the sponge can absorb, you'll end up just vaping wick with a tiny amount of juice.

If a coil feels done for, let the tank sit for 5-10 mins and see if the experience changes. If it's back to normal after the break, the coil is probably still good.

Thanks for that! I need to hold off on changing my coils as i think ive been changing them before needing to lol
That's a great explanation :D

Pretty sure i've binned coils because i didn't understand how coils and wicks worked to(i'm still an amateur to be fair), sometimes it helps just to hear/read something explained a certain way to make things click. Happy vaping! :)
