Just not getting it...

I understand your problem, i have a few friends which are very sensitive to PG levels, Which make them cough like a 60 a day smoker!

I recommend the grizzly bear range from Spiritus Vapes its a 100% VG juice which is smooth on the throat. They do a tobacco menthol flavour called polar bear. Give it a go at £12 for 30mg!

Most there range are 50/50 mixes also, Nicoticket flavour are amazing also.

Now if you do intend on using the VG juice i recommend a bottom fed clearomizer like the Aspire BDC found here http://greyhaze.co.uk/collections/ecig-cartomizer-tanks/products/aspire-bdc-maxi it will fit nicely on your EGO, And performance will increase.

I hope this hopes you!

I've just cleaned out my tank and tried again with a 50/50 mix I already have... I think what I don't like is like a dry aftertaste?... Could this be due to the nicotine level or the vapour or just the way it is?...

Have you tried vapertrails menthol smoke. Its 70/30 though so a but high on pg. The dry after taste could be lots of things. Even down to the vape flavourings. I found that when I first started vaping that certain flavours really dried out my throat. And mouth. Dropped my bid level to 18 on that flavour only and it was all fine.

A mini protank is a good investment but also a vv mod helps too, the flavour changes in a glass tank and becomes pure and combined with the vv mod gives vaping a true customizable experience as the flavour and throat hit changes dependent on vv setting

consider getting a variable voltage battery. Menthol and mint taste much better at lower voltage.

Another vote for a protank mini over an EVOD considering that the OP likes menthols and the EVOD has a polycarbonate tank and the protank mini is made of pyrex. I have both tbh and still like the EVOD, they still use exactly the same coils.

Boots sell vg for about a pound for 200ml. They also sell menthol crystals for about a pound. If you want to increace your vg and menthol while decreacing the nic of your juice, that is a cheap way to do it. More vg should also leave your throat feeling less dry.

If you mix equal parts vg and your current juice, that will cut the nic from 24mg to 12mg. It will also dilute the flavor, which is where the menthol comes in.

If you decide to mix with menthol crystals, try crushing a couple crystals into powder and leaving them in about 10ml of vg overnight. That will be crazy strong. Add a few drops at a time to your juice until you reach your desired level.

Total cost is just a trip to boots and a couple pounds, and if you like the result it pretty much cuts the cost of your juice in half.

Hope you manage to get it sorted my friend ...like others are saying it could be the tank you are Using , I'd also try going for something more in the vg range ..oh and welcome
