I got a Kanger Pro Tank 2 Mini V2 yesterday and was getting on with it great. I had it set on 7 - 8 Watts with a 2.4 ohm head which should be fine. I left the liquid to soak into the wick for 10 mins before vaping. It was okay for a few vapes then i started getting a burning taste so i left it for about 20 minutes and it was fine again until a few capes later.

I decided to change the head this morning to see if i had a faulty one. This one read at 2.5 ohms, I only had it set on 7 watts so i didn't burn it out again, and i started to get that same burning at mid day! why is this happening?!?!?!?!?!?!

What pg/vg eliquid are you using.it sounds like it's not wicking properly .what battery are you using.

As above, definitely a wicking issue.

Is your juice high PG, and thick / gloopy?

Sometimes you can remove flavour wicks on the coils to allow more juice through but havent personally owned a protank mini...

I have an taste vv/vw v3. I don't know what pg/vg it is, i got it from vapouriz. The liquid isn't particularly thick but haven't owned anything else. I ordered some 80/20 liquid from totallywickedeliquid.co.uk, will this be thicker or thinner?

Sorry, I'm a bit of a rookie, this is my first mod from the ego

cool, cheers :) I'm also going to try taking the flavour wick out when I find some pliers. If i was going to try a more vg based liquid how would i make it not burn if it will be thicker? I'm thinking about making my own.

You might be vaping a juice which is high in vg already, if so this can very often slow down juice from properly soaking the wick, as vg is a thicker liquid than pg. Try adding some pg to the tank, so getting more pg and giving the wick more chance of soaking up the juice. That's what i did and it worked. I have heard some say add deionised water to the juice to make it more runny, i have not tried this.
