This review is purely my opinion, and no way reflects those held by this website www.planetofthevapes.co.uk

Vendor:- Safercigs
Cost:- £18.82 inc. postage

Consists of:-
The clearomiser "tank" bottom cap and 2 No. 2.6 Ohm heads (boxed).

Options:
None I am aware of.

On a Sigelei Zmax:

Reason for purchase:

The "hype" and I wanted somthing that had a better capacity than the Evod.

Real world use:

It's very well constructed, goes together well and no leaks so far. Easy to fill, and easy to change the heads when the time comes. The heads are also rebuildable in the same manner as the Evod.

I've been messing with mine this morning and rebuilt the one head I have twice, once as a 1.6 Ohm and now as a 2.3 Ohm. I used two short sections of 2mm Silica wick.

This atomiser produces LOADS of vaper, but I have found the flavour is quite muted (one of the reasons I rebuilt the head). Currently I am vaping Hangsen Banana flavour juice and am VERY impressed.

As before, LOADS of vaper, but now also plenty of flavour as well.

I think this is a very good atomiser, but you will need to find the "right" juice to get the best from it.

I will be getting another one.

Nice fair review, I also rebuild the heads as the stock ones are to put it politely crap, also blocking one of the holes seems to improve flavour for me :)

....................also blocking one of the holes seems to improve flavour for me :)

What did you use for that?

I like the loose draw (loads of vaper), but would like to increase the flavour other (thinner, I think) juices.

Just out of interest I rewicked one of mine with 3mm silica and a resting piece of 1mm as other than my Boba's I tend to use a 70 / 30 mix so I could simply take the 1mm off if needed but didn't think of a straight 2 x 2mm for my PG juices - what was your thinking behind it and have you tried a 3 + 1. I.E. just trying to think in my mind what the difference would be between 3 + 1 and 2 + 2. I'm always interested in other peoples 'thinkology' behind what they do. All the best, Jase.

I used 2 x 2mm wick as that's all I have and if I had used a single strand then I wouldnt have been able to get enough kanthal around it (I was trying to aim for an Ohm rating similar to original).

I don't bother with the "flavour" wick, just single 3mm and 5 wraps of .20 kanthal on evods and protank, always ends up 1.9ohms.
The stock protank heads do have 6 wraps of what I presume to be .20

That's exactly how I do mine but I had to put the 'flavour' wick on as I had some 'minor' leaks on mainly PG juice but went with a straight 3mm when I vape the Boba's. By the way I usually get 1.9ohms as well so we must be re-wicking the same. I use a small pin as well so it's not too tight.

In addition, I have now rewicked the spare head sent to me (2 pieces of 2mm silica and 5 wraps of 0.2 Kanthal) and I'm vaping GVC.

It's bloody great, again loads of vape and flavour, I can only assume the lack of flavour previously was being caused by the supplied wicks.

I was I bit disappointed initially, and was wondering if I should have bought a second one for Karen.......not any more.

With a change of wick I can thoroughly recommend these clearomisers.

Thanks for the additional post, I mainly use GVC as well and it does taste a little muted on the Protank compared to the iclear30 so I shall have to try a re-wick with 2 x 2 rather than the 3 + 1 I've currently wicked it at and see if there's any difference.

Thanks again.
