Just re wicked and coiled an evod coil head and fitted it to the protank.

This thing is like a bloody steam train now, shit loads of vapour, flavour is almost too strong now (spearmint) and throat hit is strong.

Coil came out at 2.1ohm with 5 wraps of .20 kanthal and im using 2 x 2mm silica wicks (in the coil) with no flavour wicks.

Also no need for that 'long, slow pull', if you do it'll make you cough lol

Vaping it at just under 6 watts but will have a play around to find the sweet spot.

Not bad for my first attempt at a rebuild

Cant get a pull on it if I screw it all the way in, probably because the evod uses the ego threads instead of the 510. Also the bottom pin on the evod coil is not tapered. Maybe put the protank pin in there.

Pulled out the coil as I thought it may be touching the side or something but it was not.

Re did it and gave it a dry burn this time and it tasted aweful. Fitted the protank one back in now amd have reverted to my CE's.

I've reverted the Protank back to it's standard setup (apart from a rebuilt wick) as I felt the "Spheroid" setup wasn't doing anything that the standard setup was.

Ya know what Whit, i think i like the CE5's better than the protank or the evod.

Im now vaping the watermelon that i thought i was alergic to but now in a CE5 and its going down a treat......wheres the for sale section???

Just got one of these from the bank holiday offer!
However, so far. Sod all flavour, and burning over 6watts, is there a break in period with these!?

No not really any bedding in required, what juice you using, if its a high vg try removing one of the flavour wicks, I find my protank fine at anywhere from 8 to 9 watts is nice also the stock heads can be a bit naff, if you can rebuild then its worth doing

Currently using @37 gummy bear, which was gorgeous through my vivi nova, but, tasteless at the moment :'(
How would I remove the flavour wick?
