Kayfun V3.1 -Faulty or being difficult?

Right, bought a fasttech Kayfun 3.1. Trying to coil it, failed miserably. When I try to test the resistance (should be approx 1-1.2ohms) just get shorted. Tried three coils now. Before I chuck it out/ set fire to it/ jump up and down on it could anyone tell me what's up with it? Here's a couple of photos:

how did you open up the juice channels buddy

New toy for me, not sure what you mean! I used cellucotton and just jabbed it down onto the juice channels with a screwdriver! Is that what you mean craigfishin? Any tips would be appreciated. All good and working though. 1.4ohm single coil, good vapour, bit muted on flavour though,

You'll find a happy medium, whistling I could cope with atm. I've just re-wicked and now I've got liquid pissing out the airhole [emoji20]

I just put the cotton over the juice channel rather than actively poking it down... but then again my new fav kayfun build is 0.5mm kanthal @ 0.5 ohms so need the juice to flow

Flooding? checked the o-rings to make sure all the sections and top of chimney is sealed? it relies on negative pressure in the tank to stop that happening.
