Thoughts On The Sxmini Puremax

Bumpity bump! Hi folks. Had a couple of these in action for the last few months. They're decent enough.

Just a couple of thoughts on it. I need to stock up on pods again and have tried both the black and pro pods. I did get some condensation/ slight leakage from the blacks originally so tried the pros. Not overly impressed tbh. I don't think the trade off is worth it for me anyway. Imo they certainly don't last any longer than the blacks and the flavour is similar. Plus you're getting less juice in them too.

Also, i've had mine out and about at work pretty much every working day for months. They've both had a few dings tbh and seem hardy enough. However, one now seems to be firing for maybe a second after finishing draw. Anyone had this? Not sure if i've maybe damaged the sensor when dropping it or maybe i've being a bit unlucky and not/forgotten to mop up juice with cotton bud and some has leaked into the gubbins??

My partner recently had the same firing issue with hers. She'd had the device since July and never given it a clean up so I suspected leaked e-liquid had gotten into the workings as there was some around the sensor and prongs. Cleaned it and left it upside-down with some kitchen towel stuffed in the pod cavity for a day or so. Worked ok for a few hours then same problem and she ended up getting a new one.

Afaik the Pro pod is the black one but with jfc so should vape and last the same but the capacity will be reduced a bit. Did it fix the leaking? I haven't tried the Pro yet as I still have some black ones and they last ages but if it did fix it then imo it's worthwhile losing a little capacity.

Mine has never continued to fire after finishing a draw so it does sound like something is amiss with yours.

Thanks. Think i agree with all that. Tbh i think it was more condensation in the original blacks rrather than leaking in my 2 and i use both mine a lot after i bricked a Luxe XR Max after dropping but that's another story but suffice to say they're not as hardy as other stuff i've had. Anyway yeah no real major probs with leaking and i suppose the main gripe is reduced capacity. Initially i wondered if it was the pod itself but it's defo the device. It's on me as it wasn't like that at start and it's been dropped more than once let's say. Probably just order another tbh.

I'll probably just get the black ones again for more that wee bit more juice.

Cheers. I've given it a right good clean out with a bud but it's still playing up. I'll probably get another anyway but maybe i'll give it some hairdryer treatment for a minute.
